2 Column Cast Iron Radiators

Slim profile. Serious heat. Our 2 column cast iron radiators give you the thermal mass of traditional cast iron in the narrowest depth we offer. At just 100mm deep they sit close to the wall, suit tight spaces and deliver steady warmth long after the boiler stops. Available in heights from 460mm to 760mm, in 3 to 40 sections and any colour you want.

What 2 column radiator options do we offer?

The Paladin cast iron radiators range includes 2 column models well-suited to modern and traditional interiors alike. Need more depth and output? Our 3 column cast iron radiators sit in the same range and give you more BTUs per section for larger spaces. Not sure which column depth suits your room? Call us and we'll work it out with you.

Why pick a 2 column cast iron radiator?

Think about what 2 columns does differently to 3 or 4. Less depth. Less wall projection. Doors swing freely past it. Furniture fits closer. In narrow hallways, bathrooms and compact rooms, that 100mm depth is the difference between a rad that works and one that doesn't. The cast iron underneath still does what cast iron always does: holds heat long after the system clicks off and radiates steadily into the room.

Finish it your way

Two column cast iron radiators suit almost every colour. White and cream keep bathrooms and kitchens bright. Black and anthracite look sharp in modern and industrial interiors. Raw metal, bronze and gold suit period homes where the radiator is the feature. Pair with valves, wall stays and pipe sleeves in matching finishes. Every colour is applied by hand at our Lincolnshire factory.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are 2 column radiators good for most rooms?
+
2 column radiators are good for most rooms. The slim 100mm depth suits tight spaces where deeper models won't fit, and the cast iron thermal mass gives steady, lasting warmth. They work in period and modern homes and suit bathrooms, hallways and bedrooms particularly well.
Are 2 column and 3 column radiators very different?
+
Yes, 2 column and 3 column radiators are meaningfully different. A 2 column model is shallower and projects less from the wall. A 3 column gives more heat per section for the same height and section count. Choose 2 column for tight spaces, 3 column where you need more output or have more wall depth to work with.
Is a 2 column cast iron radiator available at 600mm height?
+
The closest option is the Pimlico at 660mm and the Sloane at 750mm. Cast iron sectional radiators don't come in exact fixed widths like steel column rads. Height is fixed by the model and width is configurable by section count. Call us with your wall space and we'll spec the closest match to your required dimensions.
Are 2 column radiators available in white, black and anthracite in the UK?
+
Yes, 2 column cast iron radiators are available in white, black and anthracite across our UK range. Every finish is applied by hand at our Lincolnshire factory. White suits bathrooms and kitchens, black and anthracite suit modern and industrial interiors, and raw metal finishes suit period schemes.
Are 2000mm or 2m 2 column radiators available?
+
Paladin's 2 column cast iron models reach a maximum height of 760mm. We don't currently offer a 2m tall cast iron 2 column option. Customers searching for 2000mm column radiators are typically looking for a tall steel column product, which is a different category. Our taller cast iron models top out at 960mm in the 4 and 6 column ranges.
Are traditional 2 column radiators good for period homes?
+
Yes, traditional 2 column cast iron radiators are excellent for period homes. The Pimlico's Edwardian styling and the Sloane's Victorian detailing both suit original period interiors. The slim depth also helps in older properties where wall depths and alcove widths are limited.
Are vertical 2 column cast iron radiators available?
+
Paladin's 2 column cast iron models are horizontal sectional radiators rather than floor-to-ceiling vertical units. The tallest option is 760mm. For vertical-format heating in a very tall narrow profile, cast iron sectional radiators are not the right category. Our 2 column range suits conventional horizontal wall installation with configurable widths up to 40 sections.
